JOHNNIE WILLIAMSON & BLUE SWAMP
Johnnie Williamson has an impressive and enviable history having played, over the course of his 50 years as a professional musician and song writer, with some of the greats:
The Animals (and friends), Steve Cropper (Booker T & The MG's), Spencer Davis, Chris Farlowe, Mick Green (The Pirates,Van Morrison, Brian Ferry) and Jerry Donahue. He has also Performed on the same stage during his distinguished career, for Credence Clearwater Revival, Rory Gallagher, Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin,Yes, Deep Purple, Tony Joe White, John Mayall, Jethro Tull, Whitesnake, Cream, Cat Stevens and Jools Holland to name just a few. He was a member of the Norwegian band Prog Rock Band Titanic, who’s single“Sultana" reached number 1 in 7 countries, founded prog rock Band ‘Goliath’ in the 70s and fronted The Skeleton Crew. He currently works as a Manager, performer, song writer, tours with his own band Blue Swamp and still regularly tours Europe and the UK with The Tribute Band Creedence Clearwater Revived.
